I have a 01 cougar and i recently installed a new exhaust and reset the ecu, and now my trip/ clock buttons dont function. The display is there but i cant adjust it, and its not the buttons, could it be a fuse?? Which one??

First check to see if all wires are connected. If they are check your fuses. If its not a fuse you can try reseting the computer in your car. To reset the computer all you have to do is disconnect the battery for a few minutes.

very tricky question
how did you reset the ecu?
was there/ is there a modification to the Powertrain Control Module?
The simplest thing is to get a few hours driving on it, the PCM starts re-calibrating
after a few hours, I am not sure
Maybe a glitch in the programming, I don't think fuse
