Thinking about having a brazilian done, but I'm concerned about how painful it will be. Any comments and suggestions welcome.

I've had it done twice. I really like the result. It's extremely painful and a little embarrassing coz you gotta get on your hands and knees and they pull your butt cheeks apart to get EVERYTHING!! It's a little on the xpensive side too (make sure you go to a clean place!!) but guys love the look, it's very clean and I didn't get any ingrowns either time. You can get a real light exfoliant from CVS to help bring them out if you happen to get any. I just hate shaving coz I always wind up cutting myself. You have to weigh out the pro's and cons.

I can't stand the itching that comes from shaving. I personally love the Brazilian and yes it hurts a bit. Your first time will the worst. Nobody told me it would feel like a sunburn for a couple hours afterward, either.

I get sugared and it's not as bad as people say. The first time is the worst but just trim as much as possible before you go in. I use a bikini line lotion a day or so before too so I don't have as many bumps. Don't use it the day you go in. It will feel like a sunburn for a while but you'll love the results :)!

It hurts, but its just flashes of pain. It takes about 30 mins, then its over. Once you have one you never want to just do a regular bikini wax and you neverrr want to shave again. Very few ingrowns and no itching. If you are scared about taking it all off, you can get all but a little taken off.

No pros about it! Shave with shaving oil. Try it seriously and feel free to email me to let me know how you liked it. It's all I use and I am very happy with no razor bumps or redness at all...ever!

YeeeeOuchhh. You're brave! I would think that you would have problems with ingrown hairs when it grows back. That would be bad.

stays smooth and growth free a whole lot longer. but yowser did it hurt. but then again it didn't hurt all that much considering how it made me feel so.......................
shaving's cheaper though and it's what i've gone back to.
