Italy.
The "Beautiful" and "Pleasant" in your question really says it all.
Now... if we enter in the realm of WHAT do you define as "beautiful" or "pleasant" who knows!
But for food, sightseeing, history, people, ambient, language, customs and more. Italy.
I'll go to Germany for many reasons, because it is a great country to visit and know. But as far as "beautiful" and "pleasant", Italy.
