For rock hard abs, you need to do sit ups, not push ups. But anyway, do both. Do 20 sit ups and then 20 push ups. Repeat 5 times in a row. When you get good, do that twice a day. Good luck.

You don't need to do push ups, thats to tone the arms and legs...I think you should try sit ups instead, for abs. I would do 100 in the morning when you wake and 100 in the night before bed.

Pushups are good for upper body and your back. If you want rock hard abs then you need to do situps and ab crunches. Neither are very appealing, but they work wonderfully. You should start with however many your body can do and then work your way up.

It depends on how in shape you are. If your not really in shape I would see how many you can do right now and add about 5 or 10 a day to that and set that as a goal. And I hope it helps. Trust me its a good system.

That completely depends on how flabby you are now, and pushups are great for the arms & chest but not that great for the abs. Check with a good exercise coach to see just what you'll need to do to accomplish your goal.

i used to do a hundered, and 50 one armed push ups every other day, but they are sit ups are better for abs

I'm not kidding...... you will have to work you butt off....... 100 sit ups in the morning around 9 am...... second set.. 100 sit ups around 1pm.....
third set..... 100 sit ups around 5pm....... fourth set.......100 sit ups around 9pm...

you should start with 50 in all the sets for about a week then go to 100.

If you do this you will be there................

you mean sit ups you should try doing 150 every single night before you go to bed. but of course you need to stay away from fast foods and from soda. good luck
