Sprint told me that it is up to the FCC which numbers that they can give out. I was told that they are not allowed to fill customer requests for very specific phone numbers, even if they are still available. I checked. How do businesses get this done? Sprint doesn't seem to want to help, and neither do other companies. Thanks

switch to a company that will do it for you and if that do not work get a 1-800 number with your name after it!

They will only help you if you want a 800 number. Then they can check the database. Otherwise you are out of luck.

Sorry

There are companies that do this, you just have to search to find them.
Here are a couple of links that I know of............
Good luck
