I dont really know why.. but everytime i wear my black roxy flip flops, they give my feet purple stripes. it really annoys me and i love them, so does anybody know why this might be happening?

oh.. they are wide flip flops. pretty loose too.
would it be worse if i wore them around a water park? <_<

Usually it is due to a non-friction and non-water resistant dye in the flip flops. So you either use them for short brisk walks, or get them in some kind of liquid until no more dye comes from them.

It is because of the dye in the black portion of the flip flop. If irritation does not occur, then it is hopefully harmless, but annoying.

The dye more than likely does it.
I wear my brown flip flops sometimes and I get brown feet!

to your feet finding sandal waiting... get a pedicure then shop on with a record, any shade nail polish, and a pumice scrubber. you are able to placed on basically approximately something you opt for for with turn flops. i in my opinion think of bramuda shorts seem so lovable with turn flops! Maybe it could be the dye coming of your flip- flops, get new ones they dont cost much.

The only explanation is that the dye they use on the flip flops is no good, and it is rubbing off.There seems to be no other way this can happen.

The same thing happens to me...except my flip flops are pink. I don't know at all why it happens, though. Sorry.

your feet sweat and some of the dye is coming off on your feet. toss them and get a new pair- i mean, geez, they're just flip flops!

um it may be the dye coming off the shoes because of your sweat.. so i suggest you just buy some better quality flip-flops

Probably because they used cheap dye in them. A friend of mine had that same problem with hers so now she only wears them around the house..
