My pulse increases when I hear my mother in law ring my doorbell: DIIIIIIIIIIINGDOOOOONG, dingdong. She's the only one who rings it like that, except my oldest son who does it just to freak me out.

I just had neck surgery - getting up from my chair makes my heart rate increase. Lifting a fork, answering the phone, and typing this answer increase my heart rate. I have to take a nap now. Later.
