Alright i'm interested in learning how to play to piano, what are at least three practical things, or techniques a beginer should know in order to fluently play and, or read music.

1.) Beginners should practice at least 20-30 minutes a day/ 5 days a week to ensure progress.
2.) Play on your fingertips. Your fingers should curve so that each finger is the same length. Too many beginners develop poor technique because they insist on playing with flat fingers.
3.) Don't just choose one method book and stay away from Alfred and Bastien because they emphasize hand position too much which is bad for learning to sight read. Faber is a good series.

Learn where middle "C" is and practice the scale from there. Then learn the notes on a staff.
