How do I get my parents to let me buy the Sims?

i've been wanting it seince i'm 10 and now i'll be 13 in two months but they say no because you can make the sims do it

So you are 12 years old and your parents are trying to raise you with good morals and to give you a good start on life.

Give them a Break. Give your parents the benefit of a doubt.
What ever it is that you want, you have lived without until now.
Why not just say OK, I love you too, Mom & Dad. And be glad that your parents love you enough to raise you. Many parents are preoccopied with work or their own happiness than to be concerned about their children. When your friend's parents let them do something that your parents have concerns about; Thank your parents for their loving care. I know that it's a hard bit to swallow. However, they are the parents, therefore they get to make the rules. When you are the parent, you'll get to make the rules.

Whatever you do, Don't whine or beg. If you have supporting information and you present it in a respectful mannor, your parents can reconsider their answer without loosing face. You see then you'll be behaving like you are older and more responsible. Sometimes you'll just be stuck with the restrictions that they place on you.

In five years you will be looking foward to turning 18. I suppose that your parents will have given you more and more freedom along the way.

Three years after that you'll be 21. At that point, you ar an adult and you get to make many of your decisions. However if you are still supported by your parents in any way, and/or living under their roof, you still need to obey them. They are your parents.

It is wrong to be disrespectful while someone is doing everything they can for your best interests.

Maybe you'll get it for your birthday. Or maybe you'll get something else. If you get anything at all, Realize that that is more than some kids get and be very grateful to your loving parents.

I find that Sims has an educational value and that is to "take charge of your own life". Let your parents know that there is far worse sexual contents on tv and in the web compared to The Sims when all the vital parts are blocked.

Tell them it's rated T which means 13 and up if it was anything really bad it would be rated M or AO

ask for something graphic and violent and use sims 2 as the other option and act all non-chalant about it if you do get said game...

or ask about it everday, atleast twice a day and leave the computer on with maxis stuff in the browser

tell them that its not really called sex its called woohoo, also tell them that you dont see anything sure they might go under the covers followed by shaking and laughing thats it, ask them if you can by it but they can try it out and see for themselves thats what my parent did.and once they notice nothing acctually shows they will let you have it, but if they dont like what they see ,they can go ahead and traide it in for at gamestop for another game. plus you should try and tell them that you will buy it,or they can get you it for your b - day.
