This is one of those times where it sounds to good to be true.
Of course, it could be an old 69 Malibu, listed as a Chevelle, with an in-line six and powerglide transmission in which case, the price sounds right.

i would have to say scam a junker in a feild with no motor rusted and missing parts goes for $3000 in my area as for one thats "rebuilt" (i would asume thats restored ) at 50% they go for $10 to $20 grand for 100% matching #'s and all check the barret jackson auctions (last one i saw was $ 75,000)

as long a body is in decent shape
it's very good price
if some body damage or rust,
price might still be fair if good

sound like somebody dont know what they have. or its a pile of rust. if the car looks good be sure check the #'s it might several cars made in to one.
