Of course i know London is the cap. of England, I live in London! But ive also learnt that there are some people in the world that think England isnt a country! Ive learnt that contry folk dont like it when we trample their grass! Maybe if you showed us some more respect we would return it, i know your type! Anyways people, thanks for the laughs!

OMG..........LOL...LMAO...ROFL. Sorry, can't stop laughing at the person who thinks England isn't a country.

As everyone is telling you it is London although because England is part of the UK it is also capital of the UK.

I am quite sure that England is a country, you get welcome signs for it when you cross the border from Scotland or Wales.
Personally, where we live we regard London as another country, they speak funny and show little respect for the rest of us. We are just `theme park Britain` for them to play in, somewhere they can park the car where they see fit and then trample our crops into the ground as they play frisbee with their rowdy, sweary, punchy children before throwing their McDonalds wrappers into the cow field for the poor creatures to choke on. The brighter children come back when they reach 15, usually in a stolen BMW to rob the local Post Office, but, nonetheless London is still regarded as the capital of our once green and pleasant land.
Shame it isn`t Cirencester, but..there you go.
Still, the nights will be drawing in soon and they will stop coming out here as they cannot drive where there are no streetlamps !

Love `em eh ?

England isn't a country, but it is london (EDIT: since no offense more shallow minded people dont understand, England is not a country, but instead a political division within the United Kingdom)

Is London officially the capital? It is the capital of the UK but when exactly was it chosen as capital of England? Obviously that would precede the union of the crowns.
