Antiperspirant has an ingredient to keep you from sweating. Usually Aluminum Chlorohydrate or some other form containing Aluminum. Some people believe this can cause breast cancer in women. So some opt to just use a deodorant that takes care of body odor but will let you sweat if you are prone to do so.

A deodorant purely covers up the scent, yet an anti-perspirant helps to offer up you perspiring. i imagine it is fantastic to apply one that is both an anti-perspirant and a deodorant (which has an astonishing scent). i hit upon that sprays are the great for this - i take advantage of particular or proper guard. i imagine that paying for more cost-effective makes is a pretend economy. Personlly, i do no longer discover that stick anti-perspirants artwork all proper. there's a sparkling particular deodorant out that would not go away the white marks, and nevertheless smells good - can't imagine of the call, yet will upload it in, if i hit upon out. there is also a particular antiperspirant/deodorant that has Aloe Vera in it, it is gentle yet nevertheless good and works properly. I have heard, in spite of the undeniable fact that, that anti-perspirants ought to correctly be a well being probability, that there is a probability of maximum cancers, yet i do not comprehend if this has been shown. each and every thing in existence looks to have some probability, in spite of the undeniable fact that. properly, i desire this helps:>)

Deodorant kills the bacteria that cause body odor, as well as neutralizing the odor itself.

Anti-perspirant does the same thing, but it also paralyzes the sweat glands so you can't perspire.

I live & work in south Texas where, as you may know, it gets a tad warm at times. I prefer deodorant over anti-perspirant since the rest of me is going to sweat so the pits might as well sweat, too, and the deodorant stops the smell.

Also, anti-perspirant tends to leave the applied area feeling waxy & dead, and I hate that feeling.

Antipersperant is intended to stop sweating. Deodorant is intended to stop bad smells. Best to get a product that has both features!

Anti-perspirants block the sweat pores using chemicals to prevent perspiration - no sweat, so no smell.

Deodorants allow you to perspire, but body odour is stopped by antiseptic agents which kill the odour-causing bacteria and deodorants usually contain a fragrance.

There has been some concern recently about the safety of anti-perspirants, so I would recommend using deodorants - as long as they work for you.

Anti-perspirant is the INGREDIENT that deodorant is made up of. You can't compare the two because they are one in the same. You can't go to the store and ask for deodorant and then ask for antiperspirant. The anti-perspirant is what keeps you from smelling like an onion.

One deodorizes (controls odor),one controls perspiration. I buy combined products It depends on you. I sweat so I need both, as sweat goes stale and smells as the bacteria grows. Mitchum is the best I have tried the women's brands just don't cut it and run out faster.. It never made sense to just buy a deodorant and keep on sweating (LOL). Yuckie pooh O_-
Just my opinion and my findings after trying many many brands over the years. take care ~A~
