What would you think of someone wearing corsets to school? I really love corsets/corselets and would love to wear them at school... especially the nice gothic ones I see on all these sites. It's not that I'm influenced by opinions since I don't care what anyone at school thinks. However, I'd just like to know what's your take on this subject!

I think corsets are beautiful, especially if you wear a sheer or semi sheer top underneath. But make sure you're not getting a real corset which is meant for waist training, because you won't be able to sit comfortably. The ones from Heavy Red that you suggested you liked are not too tight, but still show off a woman's figure. I say go for it, but make sure you bring a jacket along just in case you start to feel self conscious about it. It takes a lot of guts to wear a corset to school, but if you want to, go for it.

I really don't think you should where a corset to school. I taught high school for 10 years, I know that if you did wear one without some type of covering, you would be sent home from any of the schools I worked in.
They aren't even appropriate for adult women to wear to work, and right now school is your job...so look at it that way.
They are for clubs, parties and your own home...but not for the daytime or mundane events

Whore
Skank
Skeez
To school?? Maybe for a Halloween costume, or even at home on weekends or something. But NOT in public. You are gonna come off as a slutty girl who tromps around showing off her body. I would never wear that out.

i think if you want to rock it rock it girl. i mean it depends on what image you are trying to portray about yourself. if you want to be seen as sexy but still classy, you'd better wear a cute fitting white long sleeve blouse under it. that would add style and a touch of class to it. also some pearls or some sort of big necklace around your neck adds flavor too!

If you don't care what people think, just wear it. Besides I like them and I have seen people wear them to school too.

corset's were meant to be worn under clothes..i think it should stay that way. girls that wear corsets to school look slutty in my opinion.

I don't think wearing one would be worth detention or something for breaking the dress code. But you could wear it under something, I suppose.
