I have a 2001 mitsubishi galant battery died put new one in radio said code didnt have code pushed buttons now says off how do I fix to get radio working??

Contact the manufacturer about your radio. You left the anti-theft feature on before you pulled the battery. They can give you the code for a lot less than replacing the radio.

your radio is code protected

if its a factory radio go to the dealer and they will give you the code

if its a aftermarket you might have trouble getting the code

If its a stock stereo you can call the dealership for the code

IT'S AN ANTI-THEFT STEREO WHICH MEANS IT STOPS WORKING ONCE THE BATTERY HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED. YOU NEED TO GO TO THE DEALER FOR THE CODE.
