How big is Calafornia in relation to Britain 4 times as big or what:?

Watching a prog. on telly, and they suggested it was four times the size of Britain and if you know that What is Africa compared to Britain. You would settle an argument. Thanks

California is 158,402 square miles and the UK is 244,820 square miles so the UK is a bit bigger.

Britain is about the same area as one of your great lakes in square miles..
