If you really just cannot quit, I suggest that you try not to smoke as many a day as you used to. Gradually, take off like 2 cigarettes
a week. And everytime you want one just eat something healthy because you're gonna want one, just replace it with a salad or banana or something. And if you have people around that smoke, just ask them could they not do that around you or walk away because you're trying to stop. Even if you smell it or stressing out and you need one, just walk away from it.
And another thing is find out just how bad smoking is for you- how it can make you look on the inside and outside, that could be motivation also.
GOOD LUCK.

first of all, it is going to be hard. if ur detirmined u can do it. every time u have a craving, drink a glass of water or something, have a lollipop, or something, dont give in. take a deep breathe in, hold it, and think about how much ppl would miss u if u unexpectadly passed. just stay motivated and DO NOT GIVE IN, u can quit, but only if u believe in urself. it sounds corny but just try it. maybe go to www.stupid.ca and learn about things. research on health canada, just stay focused, and keep taking baby steps up to the top and u can make it. good luck, its for the besst u know. :)

Replace the action of smoking for a better one (like taking a walk or drinking a glass of water) when you get a craving.

there are several brands of patches and gums too help you stop , i heard hypnosis works as well as drinking water when ever you get a craving, and wear a rubber band, pull it when you get an urge to smoke also throw all the ashtrays out of your home ask your friends not to smoke in front of you and when you go to a restarunt ask for
' no smoking section.

Why are you giving it up, do you REALLY REALLY want to give it up? If you WANT to you will, if you don't you WONT!

It is simply a matter of mind, you probably can convince anyone that you cant pack up, but you foremost have to convince yourself, visualise yourself a NON SMOKER, tell that little white roll of paper and crap, you are master, it rules you NO MORE!!!!

You could use the patches, they are expensive, then you have ween yourself off them, I went cold turkey, and I ached all over in places I did nt even have for a couple of days.
It was a battle with myself, and I won! Go for it, Good luck!
