I noticed yesterday when i was washing my car the paint was peeling a bit by the rust, its on the driver side door. Its noticable to me about the size of a dime.....i dont want it to get worse!!

You will not be able to properly repair the rust. Get several estimates from qualified body shops. The cheapest may be hacks. If it is minor, chip off the rust and dab some color on,but this will be an ongoing repair.

You will need to paint the entire door. Silver paint will never look right if you try and touch up on little spot. You can sand off the rust and apply primer, but take to a body shop to shoot on the final coats of paint.

if it is a hole you can knock in then hmm
I guess you would have to take the door apart to paint that area with roofing tar that works GREAT! to stop areas from rust on metal that does not have water on it even if there is slight damage
any tar on the outside of the door can be cleaned up by gas then I guess sand and touch up paint if bad or not to bad touch up paint
or if after sanding it it eats to much metal,tar a peice of metal or glue it in place with some kind of goo or something then tar the whole area inside the door then on the outside do the car body puddy thing to the spot wait sand it prime it and paint it
