Whatever you do do NOT manually shut down explore.exe or any instance of svchost.exe as you need those to be running in order to even start up your comp (explore.exe is the physical OS you are running and I don't know what svchost.exe is or why there are so many running but you need them all too lol).
Step 1: Run 1 or 2 anti-spyware programs
Step 2: Run your anti-virus program (completely not just a quick scan)
Step 3: Defrag your drive
Step 4: Reboot.
You may also be running too many programs upon start-up so stop all the non-neccesary programs from starting up...such as abobe, real player, your messenger services, any game servers etc. Then load them only as you need them.
If those don't help go to BestBuy or some other computer store and they can trouble shoot it for you if you don't want to do it yourself via the online sites dedicated to troubleshooting comp problems.

ok google each 1 of these processes or things ending with .exe
i have never heard of nod32.exe check that 1 first
secondly a reboot could fix, ur kernal debegger may not be working correctly and a reboot would fix that, i think u have spywares probably
RAM is completely unrelated so purchasing more will not help
u need to learn more about ur computer and run a tight clean system
tools such as ccleaner, sysinternals process explorer, and sysinternals tcp view can rly help detect malisous softwares, GL
also try this google "hijack this" and u will find the program, which logs things about ur computer and forums 2 post the log it generates, then folks will really let u know whats going wrong
GL
pointz pls

Hope you can read this .. :)
1st- Try to get anew computer better than trying to save this one
2nd - if you cant you can do a simple thing :
1*Backup The Files you Have On Drive C:\> Or where youve Installed Windows XP
2*Get Windows XP Cd .. And re install it from the CD ( Make sure you know how if not ask someone to do it for you )
that will solve it
Oh and if you dont want to reinstall windows Which will be bad
Run > Msconifg > Startup
Disable all... > Restart
That should help a little
( Dont use an antivirus because it kills your computer )

NOD32.exe has a vulnerability in it, you might be infected. Shut it down and see if that helps.
If usage is still a problem download adaware and run it. Run a full virus scan as well.
NOD32 contains a flaw that may allow a malicious user to gain access to unauthorized privileges. The issue is triggered due to the NOD32 GUI (nod32.exe) running with SYSTEM privileges when a scheduled on-demand scan is run by the scheduler. This can be exploited to invoke cmd.exe with SYSTEM privileges when a scheduled scan is running. This flaw may lead to a loss of integrity.
Vulnerability Classification:
* Local/Shell Access Required
* Misconfiguration Problem
* Loss Of Integrity
* Exploit Unavailable
* Verified
Products:
* eset NOD32 2.51.20.0

First of all, you probably have adware or spyware. Id recommend this thing called spybot search and destroy, or AVG free. second of all, when you start up your pc, if lots of your installed programs come up, that might be another problem in it, and if they do, try to find and un check the box that says start program upon starting up pc . im not sure if thats what the box says, but im pretty sure you get the jist of it. hope it works out for u.

hi, virus can slow your computer, perhaps there is a virus with your PC. perhaps you can try Norton or Mcafee to remove the virus, but you should pay for the software.
i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.
download firefox for free:

You have got spyware you picked up somewhere. You need to hit ctrl alt del and list the open tasks running . Tell us and we'll tell you where and how to delete. You should download something like spybot and run it but it does not always find eveything.

I would not recommend installing the Firefox. My CPU usage jumps to near 100% when I open the program, no idea why.

ok i know of this problem now this is what is going on many friends had the same problem if you use a router for your internet access it dont matter what router you need to get this done and fast
people in the vicinity is on your network
GET THIS SET TO DISABLED
(GAMES & APPLICATION SHARING )
it dont matter what router you have you need to get
(GAMES & APPLICATION SHARING ) set to disable
is your router safe?
you need to call your (isp) server
they have to get you in to your router home page
then from there ..copy & paste the router home page
into a notepad then save that to a back up cd
now from there they have to take you to the part
where (GAMES & APPLICATION SHARING ) is
then you click on ( GAMES & APPLICATION SHARING) icon
then at the top on the right your see
configure.. you click on configure
then you .. untick the box
that is ticked there ...
then you click on
apply
and then ask there where you set up a wpa-security key dont use a 128bit wep key ask to use a wpa- security that is your router security key and you pick the wpa-security key not your (isp)server . just ask them where you set one up they will say use a wep-key ..ignore them you say your going to use a wpa.key and whant to know how to set one up and remember you pick the wpa-key not your (isp)server or they will use your network
now you close off the page
and clean out your internet address bar
then run a virus check / spyware chat / trojan/worm ..check and clean up the pc but get that
(GAMES & APPLICATION SHARING )
set to disable and your pc will be more fast and your internet speed will fly in if you dont listen then its upto you
