Next time, take a look at the little clock at the bottom left corner of your computer screen. Roll your mouse cursor over the time and it will give you the date as well. (don't know if this works with Mac)
If the clock doesn't show, right-click on the bottom right corner of the task bar, click on "properties", and check the box that says "show clock", then click on "ok".

I was trying to remember my history. Joseph Stalin had drafted some document to Winstion Churchill and Franklin Roosevelt about opposing the invasion of Eastern Europe........I think..

You're right it does sound stupid...especially considering the fact that all computers, by default, have a calendar on them that display the full date for them. And you are using a computer and I assume you can read seens as you can type just fine....

If you let your mouse point to the time on the bottom right of your computer, it should tell you the date whenever you need it.
I do have to ask the obvious question though. Why don't you know what day it is?
