There is no "best" state. Just as there is no best food. Best depends on what each person likes. Now, Alaska would be great for somebody that enjoys rugged outdoor activities, but lousy for a person that likes urban areas. I'm from Michigan, and here we have good deer hunting, and the Great Lakes for fishing and boating, but if you hate cold, you'd be better off living in Florida or Hawaii. Colorado would be great, if you like beautiful scenery, or snow skiing. That's one of the nicest things about America, we have just about anything one could want.

I'm from NY and I live in NJ. I think that maybe the best state is CA because everything happens there. People make the most money there and all the tv shows I want to be on (Wheel of Fortune, Family Feud, Lingo) they are all filmed there. . . . Even "Supermarkets Sweeped" is filmed there. . . Anyone know that show? (If you have PAX tv then you probably know it)

Moved to Arizona 20 some years ago and loved it. Moved from there to back east and south and even mid west. HATED all of them! Came back to Arizona nearly 9 years ago and well never ever leave it again. It may be hot 3 months out of the year but it is lovely the other 9 months.

florida,because theres tampa,miami,orlando. there is so much to do in those 2 cities alone.and the beaches,well some of them, are just beautiful!!!!
