if that match had gone into penalties we'd have won it buddy! it's true, though, that there seems to be a curse on germany-italy matches, we just can't win them, it's weird. it's not that the sides were unevenly matched this time round or anything. frings should have been there, but outside that we were pretty much fine as a team. anyway, to actually answer your question: winning the world cup does not mean being the overall number 1 in the world. if you think about it, there is a lot of good luck involved in winning tournaments, too, the way the groups come together, the subsequent pairings etc. so, the azzuri are certainly one of the great teams on the this planet, but i wouldn't consider them the overall number 1.

And no1 is scared of cheaters(Italy, of course)
See, in a compitation sum1 has gotta win.By luck it was decided by God that CHEATERS hav got 2 win the WC 2006 so that ever1 realises that in this world there r losers like u who like cheaters and cant stop insulting the best teams in the world.

I think they are skared of Italy because they dont wanna try to win cuz "italy is better" and yeah they are sooo much better but since the players come to the game like "whatever we do italy is better" so they dont even try to win so they are NEVER gonna win and thatz pretty much it

Nobody is scared of Italy and u know it liar. They beat France, big deal, France beat them before anyway (not penalty-shootouts) wow.

i will admit they played well in the last minutes with the germans
but their last performance was no world cup winner
they disappointed me, i thought it was going to be a good game
i would easily give the cup to france now
