With no experience, I wouldn't hire you as a consultant. Get some management experience first.

If you want to hear from 'people in the industry' you need to say what industry. Management is not an industry.

It depends upon where you work and who hires you. For example, if you are hired as a management consultant by a public CPA firm, and you are consulting in large metropolitan areas, you can make more than $75,000 first year.

It also depends upon where you received your MBA from. Obviously, a Harvard MBA has a higher valuation than Phoenix Online.
