When she goes for her consult, she should be able to try on various breast implant sizers in her bra to see what size she would like to go with. Surgeons will only increase breasts 1-2 cup sizes maximum.
I also suggest she visits the website below for more comprehensive information. HTH.

My wife recently had hers done ( 5 weeks ago ) She is 5 foot tall and 105 pounds. Started out with 32 A/b and now she is a perfect 32 C/d. She went with the dr's recommendation of 360 cc implants filled to 360 cc. They are friggen awesome. Her confidence went through the roof.
Dr gave us some advice on how to measure how closely they will look. Get some rice and a pair of knee high stockings. Fill the stockings with the amount of rice. Remember a cc is the same as ml or milliliter. Oh and as a precaution to capsular contracture, go under the pectoralis muscle. Good luck.

I'm sorry she has decided to do this - I will never understand why women continue to do this. I saw a 55 year old lady, in a bikini, and you could see the implant against her chest wall, and her skin sagging around it. The implants always stay perpendicular and they never look natural. Plus the risk of undergoing anesthesia, infection, etc. - nothing is worth that unless you health depends on it in my opinion.
In any event, there are many bras out there that are padded, there are glue on gel cups that an be purchased, etc., or buy a normal bra or two in different sizes, stuff the cup and see how she likes it - try to use something such as a water balloon, etc., that would have the approximate same weight, shape, consistency, etc.
You can also check out all different types of augmentations and what has gone "wrong" with what movie stars have done:awfulplasticsurgery.com . The surgeon on that site identifies too big, placedwrong, dents, etc.

There are inserts you can buy to put in your bra/swimsuit that are designed to increase your bra size temporarily... that would be a great way to do it. They have them in the lingerie departments of most clothing stores. Once she decides what she likes, she can even take it to the surgeon when they do a consultation to show them exactly what she wants.

From naturally knowing C is probably best. Had DD's when pregnant it sucked back hurt all the time hard to find cheap bras and I didn't care for having to flip it over my shoulder to wash underneath either.

When she goes for a consultation. The surgeon will usually give her a bra and have her try different prosthetics. If she still isn't sure maybe he will lend her a couple of different sizes to try over the next 48 hours or so.

anything past a C is too big...... if she is already an A... a B or C is fine.. B is pretty much perfect , especially if she is thin in the waist area... plus you can always ask for a "larger B" or a "smaller C" there is such a thing.
id go with B if she is a pant size 2-8
if she is a pants size 10-14 go with C :)

Why? I hope she thinks about this decision long and hard before she decides to go through with it. I think society places too much emphasis on women's breast size myself.

Go with what the surgeon recommends, if she's not that sure.
There's no one perfect size, the surgeon will likely try to balance her upper and lower body. If he or she doesn't seem inclined to do that, I'd find a different surgeon.
