Not unless they specifically check for nicotine, which they usually don't. Usually they're worried about 'street' drugs like marijuana, opiates, amphetamines, etc. If in doubt, ask your school nurse "in confidence" so there will be no official report. Quite frankly, nobody except your parents is likely to do anything about your smoking in the past; the school only acts if you get caught smoking on school grounds.
You've probably heard this but it bears repeating - you shouldn't be smoking anyway. Visit a lung cancer patient to find out why.
