first off, she shouldn't use a sharpie...it could have all sorts of germs on it. she should use something that is hygenic and disinfected. second, is she using the capped end? it could be scratching her. if she broke her hymen, which i doubt she did, it could have bled from that, but that only happens once to a girl. my advice, get it checked out.

She is probably tearing the inside walls of her vagina. She should use something smoother without seams or edges.
