I once got sooo drunk. (as you do when you are young and stupid) and fainted whilst being sick, on the way down to the floor I cracked my head off sink, wall, bath, and radiator.
I knocked my self out (my bathroom is small by the way) it felt like I was out for hours, like in a deep sleep.
As I came round I could hear voices whispering. but not making sense, I thought I dreaming. and as I came round more there was only two voices speaking and they were more clear one was a man and one was a women they saying over and over again like a chant " is she OKay, yes she is" "is she ok, yes she is". there voice's seemed familiar and comforting like they were family.
Of course I freaked out when I came round and thought I was dying, When I thought about it the next day I came to the conclusion that it was my guardian's which we are all meant to have. I sometimes hear these voices when I am not quite awake and not quite asleep and it's a great comfort. I do beleive life goe's on was we die.
AND NO AM NOT MAD YOU GUY'S I SWEAR ON MY FAMILY xx

I had a nasty car accident which i came out unharmed apart from severe bruising and whiplash. Both cars were write-offs. That was six years ago and i can't get behind the wheel without shaking, i am a very nervous passenger and even when i am on foot crossing a road, i can't cross if there is a car within 20 meters of me. I never gave things a second thought untill i experienced how devestating vehicles can be. I know i didn't come to serious harm but the after effects have changed my everyday life.

I had a a serious car crash a few years ago, and I had to be resussed, I remember being able to hear everything that was going on around me and the Doctors saying that they couldn't get a BP reading as there was no BP (when there is no BP reading - it means you are dead!).

Since then, I have changed my life radically, I have my own business now, and I am extremely Psychic... not sure if thats a result of the accident or what... I certainly didnot see a white light or a tunnel... but I remember feeling warm and soft... it was physically painful to come back, but I knew I had to and that I wasnt ready yet... not heavenly voices though, just a feeling that I had.

xx

I have totalled 2 cars and been in a few fender benders and almost been run over by cars. It scared me a lot for few seconds, but the shock went away after I realized how much the repairs/ another car would cost. Today I am no longer scared of car crashes. My heart might skip a beat when if I get into a near crash, but I don't get scared anymore. However, now I think I'll probablly die in a car crash, or a military-related death.

I don't think it's a near-death experience... I don't know.

Well, I was only about 8 or 9 and I couldn't swim at all! I was in the swimming pool with my friend and, of course, I held onto the rails when we were passing through a deep-end going onto a shallow part.

As I saw a man and his family leaning on the rails, I didn't want to make a fuss, so I attempted to swim around - all the while crossing the deep water.

You guessed it, I began to drown. I was just in the water, splashing away. My friend didn't realise so she just pointed and laughed at me. Somehow, I managed to pull myself to the rails, coughing up a lot of water. It was weird.

Compared to other people's stories though.... mine's NOTHING as bad.

Personally Iv'e never had a near death experience, but many of my cousins have, and one of them was recently hit by a car and killed.

Anyway, to cut to the chase, when I was vacationing with my mom's side of the family and swimming in a pool, my two year old cousin fell into the water from the other side. I immediately saw her splash, sprinted to the other side, jusped in, and swam her to safety. She was fine about ten minutes later when she got an ice cream cone, but thinking about the possibility of her drowning had me traumatized. her parents had been on the other side of the pool too and I was the closest one to her. it just makes you think about how everyone takes time and life for granted.

i had placenta previa and was in surgery for 5 hours, my daughter and i both were resuscitated, i can only remember her sitting with me as a teenager and talking to me about what a great time she had with her friends, she was new born so that was spooky. they had a tough time bringing me round as i was really enjoying talking to my grandfather as he was giving me advice on my parenting skills, he told me to go feed my daughter several times, eventually i came round after a total blood transfusion and major surgery, my gran came to visit and i told her my grandad had put her Xmas present behind the wardrobe an yes it was there, he had died several weeks before. i just know now every day is precious ( my daughters middle name) and i never feel lonely as i know my grandads with me always, strange but true xx
