I know how you feel. I had this problem for years until my late 20's (about 27ish). I tried everything on the market for years, so I know what works and what does not work. The solution below works, guaranteed, however there are side effects. Before you decide, you need to take the dermatologists advice, they will know better once they have seen your case.

Go to your doctor and ask him to refer you to a dermatologist. Then ask the dermatologist to prescribe "Accutane" or sometimes known as "Roaccutane" in other countries. Tell the dermatologist, that your older brother or sister (or friend whose had the same level of Acne) was prescribed this and it worked wonders.

This is guaranteed to work against spots and Acne. At first, your acne, will become worse, for about a month or two, then it clears up, permanantly. If does this by shrinking the pores in your skin, forcing out any spots at first, and they cannot produce as much oil or whatever it is. If you have a bad case you may need to go on this course two or three times. (I was on this for two years).

However, read the side effects, they can be adverse, you cannot be pregnant, you might get a few nose bleeds, your lips go dry, you cannot go in the sun, etc. Most side effects are temporary whilst on the medication (except the pregnant part - that causes permanent damage). Also your skin might be a little drier than it was before, so you may need to use a moisteriser for a while. It is still better than having spots on your face though.

Do your own research, for instance, go to....

Finally, take the dermatologists advice on this. They may prescribe an antibiotic instead.

Good luck!

You have gotta try Freederm. Wonderful stuff. I don't get many, but when I do, they are the reall throbbers, hate em, this stuff gets rid of them almost overnight! For real. They do a get you put on night and morning, but I noticed that they also do a face wash, I haven't tried that, I just use the gel, but I bet the face wash is excellent. It really is great stuff.

i had acne as a teenager and the best treatment was to wash first with simple soap then wipe face with surgical spirits on cotton wool and the last thing was to apply a coat of witch hazel again with cottonwool, do this twice a day and get results within a week

Try getting Proactive. Lots of stars and people use it and it worked. My sis used it and boy did her spots improve. If NOTHING works this probably will. Hide them. Find makeup that matches your complexion and put it on the spots. They will disappear!

I think you should see a doctor to have them checked out to make sure it isn't something serious and perhaps he could refer you to a dermatologist.

It is possible you could be allergic to something
