I'm in my second year of college and I have a laptop. My freshmen year I had no lock on my laptop and nothing happened. My roommate even left the door unlocked at times when no one was in. Last year I might have just gotten lucky without anything happening to my laptop. Should I get one this year and if what brand?

you need to buy a cable lock (k-lock) which attaches to each side of the laptop.. do a search: "laptop cable locks" also, if you make sure it is password protected, it should deter the thiefs

i stole a laptop from my college 1 time
so a lock is a good idea, manufactorer doesnt matter just go to bestbuy
