Alabama is not my favorite state, but there are some nice things there.
1. They have a small coast, but it has some of the nicest beaches I've ever seen.
2. The northern part has the beginnings of the Appalachian mountains, and some beautiful parks and scenery.
3. It has two major college football teams, U. of Alabama and Aubrun.
4. It has a large NASA complex in Huntsville, lots of rocket scientists and space camps for kids.
5. The food and weather are better than most places.
