I believe you are referring to the Dallas Cowboys linebacker who played NFL games in the 1970's while high on cocaine.

I believe he rehabilitated his drug addiction and gave much of his money away to his extended family, like $10,000 each to his cousins or something.

Thomas Henderson, now lives in Austin, TX. I would not doubt it that he would be on a yacht somewhere... with all that money. He has been a motivational speaker, educational filmmaker, author, and former linebacker for Dallas Cowboys. HE HAS PAID HIS DUES!!! Most Black athletes must endure hardships - because they are singled out. Mr. Thomas "Hollywood" Henderson, has indeed lived his life, some good and some bad. Mr. Henderson now lives in Austin, Texas.

I remembered Hollywood Henderson a s a remarkable self promoting football player whose life and career crashed in a world of substance abuse. I read your question and became intrigued. I googled "Hollywood Henderson" and clicked the first link (which follows below). The short four page easy reading article was very entertaining and insightful. I recommend it.

"Believe it or not: the life of Thomas "Hollywood" Henderson is so ...'Believe it or not: the life of Thomas "Hollywood" Henderson is so remarkable that it seems to have come right out of, well, Hollywood' from Football Digest ..."

I hope he is enjoying his good fortune (no pun intended) and doing something positive with his money. Wikipedia has no record of his death.
