the mens is pretty strong and smells like colone!!!!!

It's mostly marketing. Most men would prefer not to buy deodorant that could possibly be for women. The men's deodorant has scents that the marketing folks perceive as masculine and the women's deodorants (Dove, Secret etc.) have scents that are typically perceived as feminine. There are some unisex, unscented deodorants.

Because guys wouldn't buy and use deodorant that didn't say "men's" on it for fear that they might accidentally use a women's product. It's all about trying to sell stuff specifically to men. For example, some doedorants have the same scent for men's & women's, but completely different packaging for the two.

yes there are women deodrants too,,,mens deodrants have a differnt smell to it ,,,it is a lot stronger i think they make this scent for men because men are a lot active and sweat more
its not like it IS for men and if a women puts it on it will harm are under arms, no its not like that ,,,its just the differnt smell ,,coz i know a few gyals that put on men deodrants coz they like the smell of the scent
women deodrants have a different smell

Men and women have different acid and base balances within the sweat. Certain deoderants are made for the acidity of the male sweat glands, and others are made for the acidity of the female sweat glands.
