There used to be a cool Ethiopian Restaurant downtown Campell.
I also love the Banana Leaf in Milpitas, great Malaysian Food.
Might be a bit pricy, but Lafondue in Saratoga, is great for a special dinner.
Or try the E&O trading company in downtown San Jose.

Picasso's Tapas Restaurant 62 W. Santa Clara Street.
Excellent Spanish food, the Tapas are out of this world and the paella is to die for. Plenty of Sangria and a port after dinner!
OMG THE BEST EVER!!!!!
P.S. They just took over Blake's Steakhouse down the street if you are looking for more steaks with some tapas.
P.S. Remember that Tapas are an appetizer meant to taste so you should order several dishes if this is all you are ordering!

There are many wonderful resturants in San Jose. A pricey but well worth the $$$ is Le Sessons downtown in the hotel (can't remember the name of the hotel). If you like venison, they have the best...actually, everything is great there.

Many ethnic resturants too.

Go to Santana Row... Maggianos for Italian, Left Bank for French, etc. Then there's Pizza Chicago downtown too.

All fresh, yummy, the best Guacamole, big portions!
I recommend the burrito bowl. You build it the way you want.
