Ask your doctor and learn how to examine yourself once a month, at least. Get educated and depending on your age and history, get tested. The survival rate is so much higher nowadays as long as you catch it early enough.

Women are taught a self examination procedure by doctors on how to look for suspicious lumps. A yearly mammogram x-ray is recommended. If discovered, the only real way to tell if the lump is cancerous is to have a laboratory biopsy.
