It's excellent, can't wait for the second series. Always thought Philip Glenister was a great actor (his brother Robert is great in Hustle too), and John Simm is excellent in the lead role. It was a great idea that actually lived up to my expectations (quite often the trailers look great put the programme turns out to be rubbish).
Slightly off topic but I need to vent...
Why bother answering a question like this if you've never seen the programme? And then go on to list something on NBC...? Isn't this UK yahoo answers? Got no problems with Americans or anyone else being on here, for example the person who answered cos they'd seen it on BBC America. Same with Q's about Big Brother, someone asks a q about UK BB, and you answers about the US BB. There will be some q's that are universal I know, but it just gets confusing and bothers me...
Rant over!
EDIT:
Actually if US viewers want to know what it's about and they don't catch the original on BBC America, it seems you're having your own version made for broadcast in 2007, just noticed it on IMDB. (Bet it won't be as good though ;-))

there are diverse of the older ones alongside with; Brady Bunch, Cheers, Mary Tyler Moore prepare and Seinfeld. They even made Hawaii 5 O back, ha. i appreciate each of the older television sitcoms yet do unlike any of the more moderen ones. once in a while i am going to observe The place of work yet that is about it.

There will never be a "Best Show" because everyone has a different opinion and tastes. I mean, not everyone loves "american Idol", for example.

I've never even heard of it.
I think the Best Show this year is America's Got Talent and Medium. GO NBC!
