does it get rid of the virus????

Well I have been using it for a couple of years and it has detected certain virus and removed them. I have had bad experiences with Norton Security System which stopped working and suddenly the program had a bunch of errors, and you have to pay for it every year.

Get Norton security thru Yahoo at a discount right now,and yes it does, ansd spyware too.

AVG is totally worthless junk. I recommend this free antivirus program.It is called antivir.

It will move it so a vault and heal the file, so in a way yes it does!

Take it away! AVG sucks (cuz' it's....FREE) I suggest McAfee or....Zonealarm.
