this is my first year of being a goalie and i'm competeing againts girls who have been doing it all of there lives. i've been playing other positions for 8 years. but i want to good in this position more than anything.

Make sure you keep good coommunication with your defence that's important.

You're the one that can see the whole field, so position them accordingly when the opposing team is on offence, make sure you always let them know what's going on and position them to cover their player on corners.

Always be aggresive when an opposing player is on a breakaway. Don't be scared to jump towards the ball and don't stay in the back of your net.
Try to keep a good distance in front of the net to cover your angles.
On penalty shots, if you observe the player you can sometimes tell where they're going to kick the ball. Body language is everything.

Oh and get good gloves.

Don't be afraid of being kicked get in there and get the ball keep your eye on the ball all ways pay attetion and work on your reflaxes.

i am a goalie so uhh probably the best is get good reflexes
