perhaps the best solution is for someone besides his
mother to accept the responsibility for making sure he
gets the right meds in the right amounts at the right time.

Your x partner needs help immediately before it escalates into something worse than just keeping him ill. Try and set up a hidden camera somewhere and document her behavior on film. Then when you can get her aside, show her the tape of whatever she's doing and confront her with it. If she still denies her behavior, go to another family member and enlist their help.

For the sake of your son, please act quickly. GOOD LUCK.

munchhausen in a word is abuse and if it can be proven, she can be prosecuted for it. she should not be providing the care for him. what she needs is therapy to address the issue of why she needs to keep him sick and dependent. best of luck.

If he can't understand whats going on then I'd move him in with you and keep the crazy ex away before she kills him. Go to the law and ask them for help, tell them whats going on and what you think, surely someboby will listen!

get and keep him away from her. munchhausen's is a very real disease with some very real consequences. if i'm not mistaken it can get worse to where it could cost your son his life.
