me and my bf having been in a long distance relationship for 2 years now, we love each other every much, lately i have been feeling like he is distancing hisself towards me, when we use to talk on the phone it use to be so amazing and now its so diferent, my boyfriend is a hard working and i understand that he works hard. right now he is out to see and well be coming to see me during this month. Why do i feel like at times he doest wanna take to me or that he is drifting away from me. Weve always been long distance and its hard but we deal with it cause we love each other. Recently he asked me to marry him, so he wants to ask my mother for my hand in marriage when he comes. He said he has had alot of him mind while he has been out to sea, thinking about getting closer to god, and starting a life with me. Im so hapy that he wants to do that, but is it normal to be scared. Im a virgin is it okay to give myself to him, cause i want to have a strong memory of him when he goes back home?

Long distance relationships are extremely hard and take its toll on both parties. You definitely have a long time apart to think things over and over several times. Now it sounds as this guy is really in love with you and is turning to God for his help in detering any possible temptation and remain truthful and faithful to you while he is away, and to keep you out of harms way too. This is not a bad thing. There is really no reason for being scared that I can see other than letting your mind run wild with imagination. Be proud of your man. In todays world, hes one of a kind so just be patient and time will fly by and you two will be together again. Good luck and God bless

long distance relationships are very tough, im in one every once in a while, actually im married and my husbands in the military so honestly it seems liek hes away from home more then hes home and when hes gone i dont even talk to him all that much, i dont think he understands how much this hurts me but i knwo that we do cherish every moment that we do have together, honestly we argur less than most couples because we know that were not always going to be around each other. long distance is hard but dont think about the negatives, when ur together cherish it

It's okay to be afraid. You are conceding that there is something good that you fear losing.

On the virgin and marriage questions, it doesn't sound like you've had many bfs, so you might want to have more social experiences before you focus so much on one person.

Talk to other adults whose relationships you admire and get their advice.
