I just recently watched War of the Worlds (it was ok) and it made me remember a news prank that showed on telivision about 12 years ago. It was A news cast alert about the world ending. It was so realistic that it made you want to lock your doors and hide! Every so often though, a banner would show at the bottom of the screen stating that indeed it was just a prank. Does anybody remember this?! I would like to view this news cast again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

OMG yeah i remember that!
Wow! that was so long ago. I was still younger then and i remember it cuz my brother ran in and told us all to turn on the television fast! So i turn on the television and there was a little girl on a hill just standing there in shock by herself then a helicopter came to pick her up. That's really all i remember before i started Crying my eyes out! LMAO man i was such a dork. anyway it was a good one. I can't help you out on what it is called or where you can find it but if ya DO find out let me know!!! I am gonna call my brother and yell at him now! LOL

War of the worlds was originally a radio show that had just that affect on the public....people thought it was real...DUH! Whatever you heard 12 years ago was just a copycat from the original event!!!
