I am such an extremist about the democratic party and love to pick on the republicans but now I feel I have been all wrong. Should I repent and change to the Republican Party and run for office?

Both parties are more liberal than the Dems patron saint JFK. His inaugural address said it all - Ask not what your country can do for you Ask what you can do for your country - Meaning go out and educate yourself. Use that education to create wealth for man kind. Some of that wealth will return to your pocket.

A thousand times NO. The Democratic Party is for the People and the Republicans are just like always were--******. Have nothing to do with them. You were just having a temporary lapse in judgment. The world is just as it has always been. A distant relative of Sen. Kennedy.

If you've gone from extremist Democrat to Republican in a short amount of time then you really have NO clue what you are. Register as Independent and think whatever you want about whatever issue. Lose the labels man, they're making you crazy ;)

Yes, though I don't mean it the way you do. Don't abandon your party for another, CHANGE your party. Both democratic and republican parties are in need of an overhaul, and the change needs to come from within. Become active, voice your concerns about what's wrong with your party and try to think of a solution. Don't let go of your old ideals, just update them with your newly found knowledge.

Throw a "turning Republican" party. The local republican office will have many promotional banners and pins for you to use.
Hand out voter registration balots with the Republican box already checked. Your friends will love it.

I am so happy to hear a good news and let me know what state you will run.I would like to see what is your Agenda and Platform.
I urge you run as Independent if you are not happy with your former party.I do not agree for you to run for Republican in my opinion,The party that goes to war and spends public money trillion of trillion dollar is not cool. You need to check it out before you run.How much money you are going to need? Who is your campaign manager? who is going to be your P.R. and speech writer?Well stake out at the 2 giant parties' booth and see how they lure citizens to register first and check around you may surprise about the system.Good luck and tell me more and if you are a good man I will send you a check for campaign money.I like people who has a gut like you. Thanks

I am a hard core republican. Yes you should change. But obviously any Republican would say that. You decide. Everyone has there reasons for what they are. If you think that you have been wrong, "wich you have" haha, then change. It would be for the better.

Heck yes. It's the best one. Don't go independent as you will probably not get elected that way. You need a party's backing and with independent you will not get one and Republican is better than Democrat.
