I'm somewhat emo, but not like FULL On. I mean, my hair is blonde, long and layered, and I wear glasses. Is being somewhat emo, considered hideous? Especially if you ARE not depressed.

I think you shouldn't call yourself emo then. I mean I think people that say they're emo do it for the attention, and that's all. That doesn't mean you're ugly. Be confident, and don't put yourself down. That's ugly.

Not nessescarily. But emo is mostly about attitude. To all you losers out there who think emos cut, THEY DON'T. Ever seen one with a black X on their hand? That means they won't do all kinds of bad stuff, including cut.
Ugliness isn't created by emoism. If you are, you are, if you're not, you're not. Oh, and don't dye your hair if you don't want to. That's SO un-emo.

Ok I'll come straight out to you. No one likes emos. I know that at my school emos are considered depressed low lifes who think they're hot and really are ugly, and out of place, and the emo wannabes are considered that too. Their social status is lost and they get no attention or anything, except for teasing. So yes to me, and a lot of others they are considered ugly wierdos.

Those glasses sound emoish. Anyway, being an emo does not mean you are ugly, but it does mean you wear either hideous makeup or weird black glasses for no reason.

okay do you even know what emo stands for? EMOTIONAL. There for if you werent depressed then what kind of over emotional attitude areyou betraying to be considered emo? Emo is not just a way of dress. Its a lifestyle/attitude. I hate emo's but something that i hate more than emo's are fake emo's.

being emo has nothing to do with ur apperance. unless the person is allready ugly, being emo wont help. cus i know of ppl that dnt look too good but they have charm n charisma.. which most emo kids dnt have.. lol but i dnt know all cases..so u shud check round

I hate emo's, they are posers and cut themselves to look cool. That's all that you see around my area, a bunch on boys dressed in girls clothes i wouldn't even wear. I wanna beat them up. You probably look normal if you just have a couple things emo, please just don't go full out! we got enough of the retards around. oh and being emo doesn't make you ugly, it's the style thats ugly!
