In the episode Columbo says it s Asphalt because it lacks a nationality.
I ve heard Uncle because it s a noun, where the others can be verbs.
I said leave, because it has one syllable, and the others have two.

Here is where it gets fun.
So now, we have a commonality between uncle, asphalt, and leave.
Each of these can be the answer.
Now, Delight is the one that doesn t belong, because it s not the one that doesn t belong.

It's from columbo s6e3. The answer is asphalt. There is no nationality.

Others have them like dutch uncle, turkish delight, french leave.

I would say uncle because it is a proper noun and the rest of them are not.
