I do it all the time, at the rate of one second per second.

Ah, the tivel. The fairy-like creature from the days of old. But a Time Tivel? Nay, I say, nothing could exist! If a Time Tivel could be placed in existence, all those around would be completely destroyed from the time-space gap...
Unless you are talking about time TRAVEL, which would make much more sense. Time travel to the past is not possible. Where are all the future people today? And besides, there's the grandfather theory, so IF it was, it wouldn't make a difference because time has to remain consistent. Travel to the future is more of slowing yourself down by going the speed of light. This is impossible because at some point, energy becomes mass, which would slow us down. So no, time travel is not possible.

Neo's answer is correct and to the point. You can slow down time for yourself relative to other observers by putting yourself in an immense gravitational field for a while (as Neo suggests). You can also slow time for yourself by undergoing very strenuous acceleration and velocity that your "stationary" observers do not undergo. You will thus tivel to the future.

Tivel to the past is impossible. You can make up a zillion paradoxes to show that tivel to the past is nonsense. Here's my favorite: if you were to tivel to the time of Jesus, how old would you be? Would you be your current age, or would you be -2000 years old?

If you were to tivel to one year ago, how old would you be? Would you be your current age or would you be one year younger? Or would there be two of you, one your current age and another who is one year younger?

Think about someone coming "back" to 2006 from the future. Where would such a person come from? The year 3000? Of course not. The year 3000 hasn't "happened" yet.

Time travel into the future is possible, currently only few seconds of travel into the future is possible with the available technology..But not into the past...

Actually, time is something which was invented by Man to keep a track of the things and to have a reference..Infact,there is nothing called time...Example,if someone asks you the time..By the time u would have told him/her the time you both wudve moved into the future and the time which u wud tell him wud b of past...Now aht do understand form this??

Time "tivel" into the future is possible under the provisions of relativity. Physical "tivel" into the past is not possible.

No it is not. Ernestine said it could based on the theory of relativity but in that he assumes that velocity effects time. Time is constant and linear and is not effected by velocity (even extreme speeds such as the speed of light)

According to "Big Bang"
20 billions years ago the time compressed up to zero.............
Then has taken place "Big Bang".
At first second was......
On second second was....
On third second was formed.....
………….
Etc.
It means that in the beginning the Time was Absolute.
Question:
How did different time later arisen?
Maybe The Time Tivel also.

I think you mean time travel. time travel is possible but our current technology prevents us from surviving the immense gravity of a black hole. In order to travel through time you must first go to the edge of the gravity well of a black hole. then as you sit there many years will have passed, you must then escape the gravity well and return to earth. CONGRATULATIONS, YOU HAVE JUST TRAVELED INTO THE FUTURE.
