For 6 old pence I could take the bus to the ferry Cross the Mersey and do the return trip
I was 10yrs old then We could do it in thoes days not like now

I do, I used to go to the swimming baths about 3 miles away and it was 10p. The same ride now would cost me £2.10.
Oh....the good old days.

it was 15p for me to get the school bus now kids proberly need more than a 5ver to get them there .
