Call your doctor or midwife immediatly.
Swelling of the ankles and feet is usually normal in the last few months of pregnancy, but if they are swolen to the point of being unable to walk on them, something could be wrong.

Give your doc a call. You are close to delivery, and what you mention is very common; however, those symptom are also symptoms that can be associated with some severe complications.

More than likely the doc might just have you go into the hospital tonight and get checked out to make sure it's all ok...and then maybe just keep you overnight so that you'll be rested for tomorrow.

Good luck, and give the doc a call.

You should definitely let the Dr know asap.
Make the calls while staying hydrated, and keeping your feel elevated as much as possible.
If the swelling extends above the knees and is accompanied by any discoloration, then the ER is not out of the question. That combination of symptoms constitutes an emergency situation.

When you say "problems" do you mean pregnancy induced diabetes and possibly pre-eclampsia. I've known women with those problems and they swelled a lot. Call your doctor now because it could be a sign that you need to have the baby really soon.

Ugggh! That's the worst. The only thing you can really do is get off your feet and elevate your legs with pillows. If you are expecially concerned, of course contact your doctor, but what is happening really is common. It doesn't make it any easier though.

If you are being induced in the morning, elevate your feet/legs, and stay flat on your back. You have major toxemia!

yes go to the doctor. a little swelling in the ankles is normal but what you are experiencing is not. you could have more complications that you don't know about and it could harm you or the baby
