sometimes your body doesnt get rid of the eggs and in this case you would have a very light or just a brownish period....in a month or so have an ultrasound to see if this was the case and that egg turned into a cyst...usually the body eventually gets rid of it...sometimes it keeps growing...the doctor will tell you what should be done

All the guys that read this are probably so grossed out right now. Oh- well. Periods are different. Sometimes your period can be as little as a few drops of blood. Birth control pills can regulate it though- maybe that will help.

i have this too. the first time my gyno saw it, she seemed surprised and asked if this normal for me.

it's old blood. i have endometriosis and i know it's associated with that in my case. are your periods painful at all? i always had, what i thought was, normal pain with my periods. from 13 to 27 years of age. then it hit me like a ton of bricks.

severe endometriosis pain.

it was mainly in my rib cage too which is apparently rare. it took 4 years to diagnose and this was thru a laparoscopy.

it's definately worth seeing a gyno for more info on your specific case. get your doctor to recommend one. and don't take no for an answer.

good luck!!

Maybe you pooped by accident. No, I'm just kidding. If this is your first period it is very normal, it happened to me. Even if it's not it is still normal, it is just your lining from last month that didn't shed all the way
