Until you find a medical solution to get rid of a dark circle under your eyes use makeup. Find a color that matches your complexion. Since it's dark you may have to use lots. When you put it on it will disappear and no one will see it and the makeup matches your complexion so it looks like nothing was there. When you find something like medicine or something from the other advice you got to make it disappear permanently you don't have to use makeup.

If yours are hereditary, nothing will remove them. If on the other hand you've noticed that you've developed them over a time, it can be one of two reasons.
First reason may be lack of proper rest. If this has started to happen of late then it may be rectified by catching up on your sleep. This can really change that problem. The second reason may simpy be a discoloration of the skin which some people develop as they get older. This one unfortunately will not go away. There are many so-called remedies out there, but trust me they do not work. Good luck.

Concealer that removes the blue tint from under the eyes. The circles are usually hereditary. But you can try Olay eye cream.

Although there is no one effective treatment for dark circles, there are ways to help alleviate or conceal them.

Drink lots of water

Get plenty of rest

Apply cold compresses

Quit smoking

Use creams that contain antioxidant vitamins like vitamin C

Use a concealer -- Choose a color that is one shade lighter than your skin

Slice a potato and put a slice under each eye for about 10 min. and it should get rid of them. Try it every morning when you wake up.

soak some cotton balls in ice water, then put them on your eyes for 10 mintues, alternating them when they get warm with cold ones.

or just hold the ice directly on your eye (its colder but it'll do the trick faster)

Or try getting some teabags a little wet and keeping them on your eyes. I haven't actually tried this one but Ive heard it really words.

Also, try sleeping with more pillows at night.
