rare , i usually get it seared like 30 second each side , if i could eat it raw i would you can taste the flavor it its cooked any higher than medium you might as well eat liver because you have cooked all the flavor out , lol I used to cook in a well known steak house and i would laugh at people that would order 50 $$ steaks and then get them well done ick, makes me wanna puke just thinking about it

I like mine medium rare. Btw...this is the only thing I disagreed with John Wayne (my hero) about. He liked his steak well done. He would say "burn mine pilgrim."

I like my steak medium with the meat a lite pink...Thats the way to eat a good steak...If you can afford a good steak...
