I think the one from Dire Straits Money For Nothing was good when it was released in 1985 and so was Aha's Take On Me video. And of course Wacko's Thriller.

one by blink 182-they just got a camcorder and filmed what happened when they gave what was obviously the budget for the video away to various people-the reactions on their faces couldnt have been faked and altho i didnt really like the band-i thought it was a brilliant idea to make a video this way and also put a huge smile on lots and lots of peoples faces.also-madness made some really funny bvideos back in the 80s for next to nothing budget wise and had to rely on good ideas and a sense of humour to get them through-which to me beats big bucks productions every time

Michael Jackson in Thriller thought it was really good, mind dont watch many music videos prefer to listen to music.
