Three days. I met her and three days later we were married. We were in the group of "It will never last". In nearly thirty six years, we have never had an arguement. We have disagreed, occasionally, but that's alright, we didn't fight about it. We each have our individual opinions, and don't try to convince the other we're right. Sometimes I'm right, sometimes she's right. Marriage is filled with sacrifice and compromise by both parties inorder to be happy. Don't make a war out of trivial nonsense. Good luck to you, whatever you decide. I'm happy she didn't make me wait four days though.

We waited SIX years before we got married and we waited five years after that before we had our first child. Take the time to really get to know one another first.
